Perform general office duties including:
Prepare and type medical documentation including:
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls as needed.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including:
Manage and maintain office equipment, including:
Order, maintain, and monitor office supplies and materials while adhering to departmental budget guidelines.
Fax discharge summaries to pediatricians and follow-up specialists as required.
Communicate with the State Department of Health regarding newborn screening results and provide updates to physicians and nurse practitioners to ensure accurate patient records.
Maintain and submit Vermont Oxford Data as required.
Coordinate and arrange business travel as needed.
Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives.
Organize and track credentialing requirements for physicians and advanced practitioners.
Record, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes for practice meetings as needed.
Track and maintain records of Continuing Medical Education (CME) funds.
Schedule meetings and maintain calendars for physicians and advanced practitioners.
