Responsibilities

Individual will report to the Director of Finance and will supervise the daily functions of the organic growth staff and be responsible for financial and operational analysis of new business opportunities. The individual will also be responsible for growth from a finance perspective including analyzing annual CMS change impact and setting the companies fee schedule

 

  • Prepare and analyze pro-forma and historical financial statements and valuation model building, including presentations to senior management
  • Creation and maintenance of key spreadsheets used in preparation of projected financial statements. This includes the ability to manipulate large data sets to support the model outputs
  • Participation in overall analysis of proposed projects from financial and operational perspectives
  • Analyze profitability of all organic growth
  • Assist in the budget/forecast of organic growth, CMS change, fee schedule and payor contract impact
  • Build key supporting reports for the regions and corporate departments
  • Assist in the production and development of senior management reporting package for organic growth
  • Liaison with many areas of the Company to provide timely support and proactive feedback on all issues
  • Provide solid leadership and development for the growth staff
  • Assist the finance team with budget, and other ad hoc projects

 

Qualifications

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5-7 years experience of financial analysis and budgeting – accounting related experience is a bonus
  • 2-4 years of solid supervisory experience
  • Healthcare experience is preferred


Hardware/Software:

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel 
  • Experience with a budgeting system is needed – Cognos software experience is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
